NOTICE ON STREAMLINING ATTWI MEMBERSHIPS AND CHANNELS OF COMMUNICATION:
Dear Sisters in ATTWI,
Greetings!
As we start our work as new office bearers, we discover that there is a need to streamline membership records so that we can communicate better with members and everyone is aware of the status of our memberships on an ongoing basis.
There is a need to streamline the membership lists of ATTWI because earlier records/files of membership details before 2020 are not available to us at this point. Therefore, we request all of you to co-operate in this effort to put things in order so that we can all stay informed and it is easier to gather us all together for different programmes and events when necessary.
With this intent, we request:
ALL MEMBERS i.e., EXISTING REGULAR MEMBERS, THOSE WISHING TO BECOME NEW MEMBERS, AND LIFE MEMBERS BEFORE 2020, TO FILL THE MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION FORM AND FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW.
Steps to follow:
1) Download the Membership Information form available for download here and fill-in all the details
2) Scan or photograph the filled-in form and email it to [email protected] with copy (cc) to [email protected]
3) Attach a copy of your Senate of Serampore degree when sending the filled-in form
4) Payment details to send membership fee will be sent to you only after we receive copies of your degrees with the filled-in Membership Information form
Please read the following details carefully before filling the form.
REGULAR MEMBERS:
Existing members who have been paying annual membership fees but were unable to send it for various reasons, may start paying annually (₹300) from the current Financial Year (Apr 2024-March 2025). Those who wish to pay for the Triennium (three years) could pay ₹900 for the period Apr 2024-Mar 2027. Please follow steps 1-3 given above to receive the payment details.
NEW MEMBERS:
All theologically trained women holding degrees from the Senate of Serampore are eligible to become members of ATTWI. If you wish to become members of ATTWI, follow the four steps given above.
LIFE MEMBERSHIP:
Life Membership was discontinued in 2020 at the XII Assembly. In the absence of records of Life Members and their contact details, this information was formally announced on 14 November 2023 in the ATTWI Family WhatsApp Group created by the then Office Bearers for the period Jan 2020 – May2024.
However, since there have been lapses in individual Life Members receiving current information about ATTWI, we wish to build the records again to be able to communicate with all of you so that there is transparency.
Therefore, we request those who were Life Members before 2020 to email [email protected] with the following details: 1) Copy of your Senate of Serampore degree 2) The Year you paid for Life membership 3) Amount Paid 4) Person paid to (with their contact details if available) 5) Copy of Receipt 6) City where you reside currently 7) Current postal address 8) Email ID 9) Mobile number with WhatsApp 10) If you do not have WhatsApp, provide a Mobile number for SMS communication.
All the above information on Life members will be entered into the records of ATTWI memberships and former Life Members will be added to the E-Mailing list of ATTWI, the “ATTWI Family” WhatsApp group, as well as the respective regional WhatsApp groups of the region you currently reside in, so that communications related to ATTWI activities will reach you.
All Life members, who wish to continue to support the work of ATTWI are strongly encouraged to regularise their membership by paying annual membership fees so that they can be listed as “Regular Members” from now on, and enjoy the rights of Regular members as per Constitution.
At a time when the financial resources of ATTWI are at a low, we believe that Life Members, who have historically shown a greater love and ownership for the life, witness, and work of ATTWI by opting for Life membership at different times, will now step in once again to support ATTWI by committing to annual membership as well as donations if and when possible.
We encourage all former Life members to begin paying membership fees (₹300 per year) from this Financial Year (Apr 2024-March 2025) onwards to enjoy the full benefits of being “Regular Members.” Please follow steps 1-3 given above to receive the payment details.
We trust you will all co-operate so that we can ensure we all stay connected, and all of us are clear about our membership status, and we all take the responsibility to keep our membership updated annually/every Triennium, so that we can strengthen our communication, fellowship with, and accountability to each other and work on impactful programs as members of ATTWI.
